I am afraid that Covid has struck our household at the busiest time of the year, and so we cannot attend the Selby Garden centre this weekend, we have to keep everybody safe. BUT we will still fulfil our Christmas orders and we will be at Hovingham on the 20th. WE ARE SO SORRY TO LET EVERYONE DOWN.
It is so lovely when you are appreciated, especially by the young ones, Two lovely young ladies showed their appreciation for our fudges by writing us letters, Aren't these so sweet? Thank you to the Dawson girls at Crayke.
We were very lucky this weekend to be invited to trade at "Woolstock" in the Emmerdale Village, There were lots of famous faces and our fudge was received very well, and we even had a few returning customers, The weather was great until about 5pm when the heavens opened, so we were cut short, but only left with 11 portions of fudge remaining. If we had got another half hour we would have sold out. We also held our monthly draw and the winner was Jen Eastaugh. Congratulations to her.
We would like to apologise to our wonderful customers, who go out of their way to visit us when we trade at Little Birds Markets around the region. Although it will hurt us in the short term, we can no longer deal with this company, our principles just won't allow us to,
Smudges Fudges had the pleasure of creating the wedding favours for Graeme and kirsty, the new Mr and Mrs Dawson in July. The day was a little challenging weather wise, but everything went brilliantly. Smudges fudges would like to wish the happy couple a lifetime of making memories together.
Our deepest apologies to anyone who came to see us at Carlton Towers Wild west day. The heat was so intense if we hadn't packed up early we would have lost all our stock, and we did not want to serve customers with a melting product. See you soon at an event near you.
What a fantastic weekend at Tractorfest, huge crowds, decent weather and we sold out both days. Smudge better known as Linda had a new hip today, so for a few weeks she may not be there to serve you, so you will have to put up with Husband Dave and please be patient with him. They are a team and its going to be very strange not being together. But the season is now in full swing and the markets, shows and sales must continue, so please come and see us, and get your fudgiliciousness.
We are very excited to announce we will be in attendance at some new venues this year, including Ripon, Humber Bridge, Temple Newsom, Sutton bank visitor centre and Castleford Carlton Lanes, so hopefully we will meet lots of new customers and of course reconnecting with all our loyal Smudgers who hunt us out no matter were we are. We would love to see you all over this season.
Hello everyone, we took January off and came into February raring to go, but unfortunately my wife Linda and I both lost our mothers in the space of a few weeks, so hopefully you will all understand if a couple of dates go askew. Sorry for any inconvenience, but I think from the 2nd March everything should run to schedule. So hopefully we can all catch up then.
We are excited to be back for our first trading weekend of 2025, you can find us and get your favourite flavoured deliciousness at Hovingham village market on 1st February and Harrogate valley gardens on the 2nd. We very much hope to welcome customers new and old. We can't wait to see you all.
